Редактор Beauty HUB Ольга Немцева окунулась в бьюти-мир научно-фентезийного фильма «Излом времени» и узнала, как создавался образ миссис Тоесть, которую сыграла Опра Уинфри.

9 марта в украинский прокат вышел фантастический фильм «Излом времени», в котором снялись Опра Уинфри, Риз Уизерспун, Минди Килинг и Крис Пайн. В нем есть все, что могло заинтересовать Beauty HUB: удивительные женские прически, fashion-элементы, и самое главное – потрясающие макияжи. 

Например, персонаж Опры Уинфри – Mrs. Which – на протяжении фильма cменила пять видов макияжа. Все они были созданы художником-визажистом Дерриком Рутледжем, включая белесые брови, сияющие медные губы, густые smoky eyes и широкие кошачьи стрелки. В своем Instagram он в деталях описывает макияж Mrs. Which, которая, несомненно, стала самым ярким персонажем фильма. Рутледж тут же выкладывает фото мейкап-продуктов, с помощью которых создавались луки героинь. Среди марок, которыми пользовался Рутледж, есть NYX, Ben Nye, Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics, Violet Voss, Lit Cosmetics. 

Family, Yesterday I did a tutorial on how I came up with lip the color combination I used on @Oprah. It seems that @makeupmadnessbycherry had taken it upon herself to assume that the lips I created for #Oprah character in the  movie @WrinkleinTime was entirely from her Glitter Line of products. I had to come up with 5 looks that went along with 5 costume changes for Oprah's character in the movie. I reached out to Cherry, told her that I Loved her glitter line and wanted them to be apart of my kit for the movie. We were both excited about this opportunity. Once I arrived on set, I met with the head of the makeup dept and she presented me with other glitter Products from Nigels Beauty Emporium that Consisted of products from many Vendors, besides what I all ready had. In the 3 months of working on the movie, I worked with many different lines & tested many products, Oprah's Looks went through phases & at least 3 looks was done for each one of her characters. I had to create many different lip color choices. Should her lips be Glossy, maybe Matte, do we glue Rhinestone on her lips or should we go with Glitter! ALL this happens before the Final Look is chosen and ends up on the big screen. NOT ONCE did Cherry consider any of these circumstances before assuming that I used just her products when working on these looks. Yesterday, while here in London, I received a call from a friend of hers to ask me about giving her credit for the glitter lips I did on Oprah for the movie. I cannot rightfully do that because there were other companies that I used when I came up with this color combination. Each lip I did, was a combination of 3 to 4 colors depending on the outfit and jewels I used on her face. So for Nachera to have her follows go on a smere campaign against me is Morally wrong when ALL the facts were not known. «Чтобы визуально увеличить глаза Опры, я должен был убрать брови», – рассказывает Деррик. Для этого он использовал канцелярский клей-карандаш. Художник щедро нанес его на брови Опры, подождал, пока он немного высохнет, после чего причесал и припудрил их. Чтобы придать лицу здоровый румянец Деррик воспользовался оранжевым оттенком румян Ben Nye. 

Что касается широких стрелок, то здесь художник признается: понадобилось несколько попыток, прежде чем он получил то, чего хотел. 

«Сначала я нарисовал стрелки коричневым карандашом. Когда, наконец, я получил желаемый рисунок – продублировал его жидким черным лайнером и наполнил красной крем-краской. После этого деликатно припудрил стрелки сверху черным глиттером», – объясняет Рутледж. 

Когда брови Опры были замаскированы, настало время украсить их стразами. Чтобы заставить их прилипнуть к коже, Рутледж воспользовался кусочками липкой резины с обратной стороны камней. Он разместил их на крошечных черных точках, которые предварительно нарисовал на коже Опры, после чего приклеил к ним камни.
